Privacy notice
Your personal data will be processed solely for the purpose of receiving, assessing and handling your report and for carrying out any necessary follow-up measures. The processing is based on applicable legal obligations, in particular the German Whistleblower Protection Act (Hinweisgeberschutzgesetz – HinSchG), and, where applicable, Article 6(1)(c) GDPR. Where processing is necessary for the purposes of legitimate interests, it is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Access to your report and any personal data contained therein is restricted to authorized persons who are responsible for handling reports and are subject to confidentiality obligations. Personal data will only be disclosed where necessary for handling the report or where required by law.
Your data will only be retained for as long as necessary to handle the report and comply with applicable statutory retention requirements. In particular, the statutory deletion requirements under the German Whistleblower Protection Act apply to the documentation of reports.
Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data, restrict its processing and object to its processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.
When using the anonymous reporting channel, you are not required to provide information revealing your identity. Please note, however, that the content of a report may in some circumstances indirectly allow conclusions to be drawn about your identity.
